Happy Easter

Hi y'all!! Hope everyone had a great week and a blessed Easter!

It was so amazing to go to church yesterday and to feel the spirit of Easter! I know that Jesus Christ lived, died, and lived again for all of us! We were able to spend most of our day visiting different members and eating LOTS of food. Arlington ward is the best and it was a great day!!

This week we had a really great lesson with our investigator Vicky. She has changed so much these last few weeks and has a strong desire to follow Jesus Christ. The Elders had a baptism on Saturday and Vicky came and she was so excited. You could really see she felt the spirit and after when we were talking with her more she said she knows for sure that she needs to be baptized. It's been so amazing and I get so excited every time we see her.

Our investigators Loraine and Elly are also doing great! Loraine is 7 so it's hard for her to pay attention sometimes during lessons. We wanted to make sure that she really understood and didn't have any questions so we had a big review lesson with her this week where we drew lots of pictures and even played some missionary appropriate charades. She got super in to it and it was really funny haha! Their whole family is amazing though and I'm so excited for them to get baptized :)

Being a missionary is amazing and I'm loving every minute of it! Read your scriptures and choose the right.
I love y'all! Have a blessed week <33

Weekly Moss Moment

So one day we were out working and we had a lesson fall through. We didn't have a ton of time and wanted to stay in that general area. We were looking at our maps trying to see who lived around there and we felt impressed to go try this Bible referral we hadn't been able to contact. We knocked on the door and a lady answered and came outside to talk to us. She said the lady we were looking for wasn't there right now but that she had a few minutes to talk. We visited with her in her driveway for a few minutes and we were able to show her the Easter video! She really enjoyed it and told us how she loved the missionaries. She said they used to come over all the time and do service for her and teach lessons. We were like wow she's golden so we asked for her name and offered to come do service! She said she would be cleaning out her sewing room the next morning if we wanted to come help. She'd told us her name was Dede but later when we checked she wasn't in our area book. We figured she had us confused with a different faith but we decided to go over anyways. When we got there we heard her yelling at her kids for dropping their bacon from breakfast on the floor. She then came and answered the door singing a song about the bacon being on the floor and dancing. She continued to dance and sing as she let us in. The bacon on the floor song was super catchy and sister g and I sing it all the time now haha! The rest of the service was pretty kooky. We didn't help much in the sewing room. We kept offering and asking what we could do but we weren't given any projects. We killed a few roaches and moved some books off of a bookshelf and that was about it. Dede was sweet but mossy for sure
